01. Who owns this site?

Sher and Maron co-own Stardance Designs.

02. Who thought of the idea?

Sher initially thought of the idea, and invited Maron to co-host the project.

03. Who owns the Hikarikat domain?

Our host is Kat, who owns and pays for Hikarikat.

04. Can I be hosted on Hikarikat too?

Unfortunately, Kat is not accepting any other hostees. She has about six people on Hikarikat right now, and we're taking up a good bit of room.

05. What coding styles do you use?

Sher uses HTML, Divided Layers, iFrames and Cascading Style Sheets to create designs. Maron uses HTML, Divided Layers, iFrames, Tables and Cascading Style Sheets. Maron uses Notepad for coding, and Sher uses Metapad and Notepad.

06. What type of imaging program do you use?

Maron is lucky and has Adobe Photoshop 7.0. Sher is grateful to have Adobe 6.0.

07. What other sites do you maintain?

To check out our sites, visit our collectives. Maron owns December-Love.org and Sher owns Cherry-Skies.net.

08. Will you make a specific tutorial if I ask?

Maron makes all the tutorials, and she'll be glad to take requests for imaging tutorials, but unfortunately we will not be hosting any coding tutorials on Stardance yet. Maron doesn't have time to write coding tutorials and Sher has tried before and failed miserably. Visit our contact page for emails to contact Maron regarding tutorial requests.

09. Will you make me a special design?

Sorry, but both Sher and Maron have a ton of things going on aside from Stardance Designs. We have webpages to maintain, real life... Sher works full time and Maron has school to worry about, and quite honestly, this is just one of those fun little projects. What you see is what you get.

10. Why aren't there icons listed on SD? I want some icons and avatars!!

If you want icons and avatars, check out Skycon (Sher's icon site) or Diamond Butterflies @ Shiawase (Maron's icon journal). We started these sites before SD came into existence, and it would be silly to move all our hundreds of icons to SD when we enjoy running seperate icon pages.

11. Your layouts and graphics suck!

Whatever. There are hundreds of layout and graphic sites on the net. Go find one you like if you don't care for ours.

12. Can I submit layouts to your site? Will you post them?

Unfortunately, at this time, SD is for Sher and Maron's work only. There are several sites out there that are huge and accept lots of people's work. Try one of those if you're interested in having your own layouts go global on the web, or create your own layout site.

13. Can I be a staff member?

No. Stardance Designs isn't big enough to warrent more than two of us running it.

14. Can we be affiliates or siblings?

15. Can we be email pals?

Maron and Sher can barely keep up with each other, let alone everyone else. Sorry...

16. Why don't you update more often?

As we said earlier, we have a lot going on aside from this site. We understand a lot of graphic sites update frequently, maybe even twice a week. But we do have real life to deal with, plus about twenty sites each that we maintain, visit and hang out on regularly, so we have to balance everything.
