This piece is a mesh of both my original design for the Sun Goddess Amaterasu, and the game Okami. It's more original than fanart, so here it goes. The look is based on Japanese woodblock and sumi paintings. The linework (including red flames and markings) were done by sumi brush, and then a woodblock-like flat color was done in Photoshop.
